Our Medicare plan is designed exclusively for FEHB retirees to give you up to $1,800 reimbursement per year ($150 per month) toward your Medicare Part B premium.
When you enroll in High or Standard Option Medicare Advantage 2, Kaiser Permanente will reimburse you up to $150 per month for your standard Medicare Part B premium.
No matter which Medicare Advantage plan you choose, you’ll get better benefits and save on your out-of-pocket costs than with your FEHB benefits alone. Benefits vary by plan option.

If you are a High Option member and have Medicare Parts A and B, but you do not live in our Medicare Advantage service area, we will enroll you in Medicare Choice. With Medicare Choice, you’ll get all your FEHB benefits, get lower copays for some services and get reimbursed up to $600 annually for the Medicare Part B premiums you pay.

Current Kaiser Permanente members who want to enroll in Medicare Advantage should complete the Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage (HMO) Group Plan Enrollment form for each member enrolling and submit it to the address within the enrollment form. If you need help filling it out, watch this video. Or call one of our Kaiser Permanente Medicare specialists at 1-800-581-8252 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to request an enrollment kit.

If you're not a Kaiser Permanente FEHB member yet
You must first enroll in a Kaiser Permanente FEHB plan before you can enroll in a Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage for Federal Members (HMO) plan.
Kaiser Permanente is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Kaiser Permanente depends on contract renewal. To join a Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan, you must reside in the Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan service area in which you enroll. Enrolling in a Kaiser Permanente Medicare health plan for Federal members will not affect the benefits you receive through the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program, although the network and other rules of Medicare may apply. FEHB Program coverage is described in FEHB brochure RI 73-012.
1You must continue to pay the Medicare Part B premium to remain in the Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage (HMO) plan.
2We will not reimburse you for any extra charges added to your standard Part B premium, such as the Part B Late Enrollment Penalty or Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount.
