Welcome USPS Employees and Annuitants

We are honored to receive conditional approval to participate in the
Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program

Since 1945, Kaiser Permanente has been proud to serve Postal Service and Federal employees, annuitants, and their covered family members as a provider of health plans for the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announced that Kaiser Permanente is a conditionally approved carrier in the upcoming PSHB Program. Bookmark this page to stay informed.

Attention Annuitants: You may have a unique opportunity to enroll in Medicare Part B and not have to pay the Late Enrollment Penalty.

If you are an annuitant entitled to Medicare Part A (typically at age 65) prior to January 1, 2024, and have not enrolled in Medicare Part B, you and your covered, eligible family members may be able to participate in the special enrollment period (SEP) for Medicare Part B from April 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024.

Those who enroll will not need to pay the Late Enrollment Penalty. Individuals who qualify for this SEP should have received an enrollment package by April 1, 2024. The mailing includes a copy of the Form CMS 40-B that must be completed and returned to enroll in Medicare Part B through this SEP.
