Are you a current Postal Service annuitant? You may be eligible to enroll in Medicare Part B without paying a late enrollment penalty.

If you’re an annuitant entitled to Medicare Part A before January 1, 2024, and have not enrolled in Medicare Part B, you and your covered eligible family members may participate in a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). This will help you avoid paying a late enrollment penalty.

Individuals who qualify for this SEP should have received an enrollment package from USPS by April 1, 2024. The package includes a copy of the CMS 40-B form that must be completed and returned to enroll in Medicare Part B during the SEP.
